Owner of the website eventbook.ro is SC EVENTBOOK SRL, identified by CUI: RO31145850, registered at the Trade Register under number J40/949/28.01.2013, with headquarters at Intr. Bădeni, no. 3, sector 3, Bucharest, hereinafter referred to as EVENTBOOK.
Eventbook, based on a prior contract with event organizers (promoters), offers ticket sales or participant registration services. This can be done on the eventbook.ro platform, through other web pages in the form of an API or iframe, or offline at sales points (Eventbook network, ticket offices of certain locations, at the Promoter's headquarters).
What data do we collect from you?
Regardless of the event for which you purchase tickets, for purchases on the eventbook.ro platform, we request the following data (hereinafter referred to as "Essential Data"):
- First Name
- Last Name
- Phone Number
Particularities:
Depending on the type of login you use, the following may be added to the Essential Data: Facebook id, Google id, if you choose to create an account/log in using one of these platforms.
Depending on the payment/delivery methods you opt for when purchasing tickets, the following may be added to the Essential Data: bank account, home address, or other addresses.
Depending on the event for which you purchase tickets/register as a participant, certain data required by the Promoter (the organizer who has contracted Eventbook for ticket sales/access/participation fee collection services) may be added to the Essential Data.
Examples:
- Personal Identification Number (CNP) or identity document number: For certain events classified as "High Risk" (sporting competitions), Promoters may be notified by the responsible authorities of the obligation to request this data from ticket buyers. Consequently, these may be requested by Eventbook to process transactions.
- Date of birth, gender, age, marital status, photographs, but not limited to these: For certain events, in addition to the Essential Data, the Promoter may request additional data necessary for customizing the event for participants, which will be collected through the Eventbook platform. For example, you may be asked to upload a photo for issuing a participant badge.
Why do we collect this data about you?
- To correctly process ticket orders
- To identify your order when you request assistance by phone, email, or social media messages
- To notify you, either by Eventbook or at the Promoter's request, if there is a change in the schedule of an event for which you have purchased a ticket: rescheduling, cancellation, changes to the initially communicated schedule, change of location, etc.
- To personalize the content displayed based on your behavior on the site
- To inform you about future events available for sale on the Eventbook platform, with your prior consent.

How long do we keep your data?
Your data is kept for the entire duration of your user account on the Eventbook site. If you wish to delete your user account, please send us an email at office@eventbook.ro with the subject "Delete Account".
